We’re The Ethical

Fashion Company

LYDIA B was started when 17 year old dancer and artist Lydia Brayshaw from Ashburton, Devon created a sustainable fashion brand as part of her studies. Having been deeply moved by the devastating news of the Australian bushfires at the start of 2020, she sketched the kangaroo design, and used the “I’ll take care of you” t-shirt to launch LYDIA B, with each product donating a substantial amount to WIRES animal rescue association.

As well as sticking by our mission to help put an end to fast-fashion, promote sustainable clothing and inspire change, we have continued our fundraising efforts by supporting invaluable charities and organisations around the world with every purchase.

Our Ethos

Our mission is to help put an end to fast-fashion,
promote sustainable clothing and inspire change.

Supporting Charities

Every month, we choose a new charity to support through the sales of a different product we decide on each week. So as well as maintaining a sustainable stance with our products, we also give back to the community with every sale. You can nominate our next months charity here.

Sustainable Manufacture

We use only organic or recycled materials that care for your skin and the environment. All our manufacturers are Fair Wear Foundation Members and GOTS Certified. Our garment designs are screen-printed by hand using only water based non-toxic dyes in Exeter, Devon.

Only Use Plastic Free Packaging

We send all our customers orders in 100% biodegradable, 100% recyclable, ocean friendly and plastic free packaging. They are even printed using eco-friendly, vegetable and water-based inks.
